...The pool idea had seeped into the scheme of things early on upon recommendation of a therapist. “Swimming therapy may help you, Agatha,” she told her. “Why don’t you give it a try?”

...Lifting the covers, I located the rosary, mysteriously hidden under her right shoulder, and handed it to her.
